I had some CDs (legit ones, although I doubt that matters) ripped to my HD. I wanted to name them, so I tried to FTP to them and name them. I had to transfer them to another directory in order to access them, and when I did, I renamed them, and transferred them back. They wouldn't work in my games, they were not even seen.

So, I try to re-rip them, and other CDs to no avail. I browsed the drive using XCommander and they are indeed there, but not on the MS dash, and thus are not recognized sad.gif

My other soundtracks work fine, but I just can't add anymore.

I knew I should've just gotten the damn Music Mixer sad.gif

Any ideas on how to fix this, WITHOUT reformatting? sad.gif

Why are you using FTP to transfer your songs over? There is a DB file that needs updating.

Use Xbox Soundtrack Editor to transfer songs properly to your Xbox. Check the pinned topic.

Noooooo. I ripped the songs with my Xbox, and then used FTP to send them back in forth after I named them.

I'll try XSE though. I ignored it before, because it didn't answer my question.
