Am I to understand that I can get a bigger hard drive and I will now be able to use the entire thing? I mean, doing some research here, would point me to the answer "yes", but I just want to make sure. Can anyone give me a definitive answer?

Yes, you can use a larger hard drive with the newer bios. You have the number wrong though. It should be 4981.67, not 1481.67.

unless your getting a 300gb or larger its easier to use 4981.06, it also supports large HDs but it puts all the space on F, while .67 put up to 137gb on F and the rest on G
