It seems that Jester, the thread starter, deleted his post because he messed up or his question didn't show up or something after a reply had already been made, so now we're just left with the replies to a question that no one's seen.

Here let me try:

If you cut the yellow wire in order to add a power button to a controller, will this have the same effect on the Steel Battalion controller as it would with a gun and steering wheel?

Yeah, Ive been wondering about that too. But I guess you could always make a switch that allows you to switch between power and video sync, if it does pose problems.

I'm psychic. smile.gif Any takers?

I would assume no that it will not work because of all of the additional buttons, but then again, I have yet to try.

Seeing as there's only like 3 people who own that thing, you're going to have a tough time finding out. You're going to have to either test if there's any activity on the yellow wire in the controller or in the xbox while playing or just cut it and see what happens (don't hook it up to the power until you know that it's not doing anything).
