That is skulls skin for ghost/warthog, and changes the ground. Is there a way to extract only the ghost skin from that ppf?

Or, can I patch the ppf to bloodgulch, then open that caced file in an editor and pull the skined ghost from it and replace the normal ghost? I tried with sparkedit, but I don't see an option to pull anything from the map.

Yes. But it will take some effort. Patch a cache file. Then go into HMT, and extract all of the textures for the Ghost. Then, get a clean cache file and inject the textures that you extracted. Get another clean cache and use a PPF creator to make a patch.

Cool, I understand what you said. Now if my HMT 3.5 would just open up. Keep getting an error "Application failed to initiate properly"

Have you got the latest .Net? If you can get 3.0 to work, that will do the job as well.
