Here's the problem. I'll be in the middle of an app (dvd2xbox and emulators have been doing it the most) and all of a sudden the xenium led will go from green (which is what I set it to) to red. After it has gone to red I can no longer return to the dash because it'll just sit at a black screen and do nothing. Anyone know what could be causing this problem?

I just got done talking some people in #ozxodus and they suggested I check my soldering so I did that and i'm testing it right now. I'll keep ya posted on what I find.

yep xecuter 4981 is good...

btw nice avatar\sig..

your problem is that the Xenium is losing its connection while on... check your soldering but also check if you vaporized any mobo capitators or resistors....

I also had the same problem, My chip operation was sketcy at best. Sometimes it would operate fine, sometimes it would just quit. Sometimes it would not load the XOS. Anyway....Resolder the lpt and all has been fine for about 6 weeks. biggrin.gif
