I'm almost finished with Concentration.

Also the way I have it scoreing now is for every match made you get 100 points. For every mismatch you get 5 point taken away. Then at the end your given a time penalty added to you total score. So in short the object is to get the all the correct matches as fast as you can.

I'm still undecided how to do the scoring. This is probably temporary.

Only one thing though. Getting the thumbs. You said Xbox game thumbnail Concentration.

Now I assume you mean actual games and not any of the homebrew stuff. This makes sense, since more then a few of the Homebrew stuff have the same ID. Currently I point it to my game dir (F:\Games) and search it, get the DecID, convert it to HEX, then go and load the TitleImage.xbx from E:\UDATA for the the first 8 games it finds.

I was just scanning E:\UDATA but I have no way of know wether or I not I'm getting a retail game save or a homebrew one. I'm working on it though.

Also I should should mention that this wasn't very easy to do. Well, for me I east seeing how I have no "real" programming skills.

It tooks me like two days just to get the randomization stuff working so that each image is only used twice, and the for whole board. I had to do a check to see if each random number was already taken befor using it. You guys might be thinking, "That's easy man" but like I said for me it was a challenge.

why dotn u do like card concentraion or liek shape concentration.
xbxo game clips seem kinda corny
but w/e

because the game icons are a readily available resource which will require little from the user (as far as extra files) and the script can be included in the MXM xbe.

cards and images are not... although i guess abstract shapes could be drawn but that would be a pain in the arse.

You should take this as a compliment flattspott, and not really read what it says. Now you have joined the ranks of other scene developers, having someone criticize something you develop before its even been used... wink.gif

Well I did consider adding mode types. Like a plain old colored block mode.

Im hashing out the beginings of Reversi at the moment. Just the checking routines that are based on where the pointer is. I'm doing this on paper while watching some earthquake movie.

Yes paper, like writing the stuff out by hand rather then typing it up on a pc.

Yuyu's comments were'nt aimed at you in hostility, but were just a general comment to flattspott about the "bombarding critizism" the dev's receive and that he should know what they feel like now.
