I had a dude install a aladdin Adv 64 chip for me and installed evox 3753 to the HDD. I created a new boot CD with evox 3935 on it and swapped the original HDD for a 30gb disk (all I have at the time). After running the "install ms dash" and "install evox 3935" to new disk I can't get the MS dash to boot normally.
PS the aladdin ADV has dual boot, quick tap on power load xbox as normal, or hold it in for half a sec and boots to the mod chip.
I did backup the original HDD settings and files to my laptop. How do I get the ms dash to load again :-(

load evox and FTP and see whats on C, make sure all the dashabord files are there, if not, replace them for your backup

also make sure ther HD is locked

Arhh the HDD locked could be the problem. It is showing a hard drive error 7 or something like that. Cheers, I'll have a go at locking it.

On my first modded xbox...I didn't know I had to actually lock the hard drive to get the MS dash to boot laugh.gif ...so I would restart restart restart and everytime I would get a new error lol...Its most likely your HD being locked...get a hold of Config Magic, Install it on the HD and its simple as can be...assuming your HD is lockable.
