I just found my receipt for my xbox. I bought it the week that it was released and HOLY shit I cant believe how much I paid for it ohmy.gif

These are all in Canadian dollars:

599.99 XBOX bundle with 2 games
49.99 DVD remote kit
49.99 Extra controller
49.99 Extended warranty (good for 2 years)

862.46 Total including tax

It hurts me to know that its less than half price now mad.gif

The place I got it from, Future shop, will gladly give me another box if my unit is faulty -- should I take advantage of this and get a v1.1?? The warranty is good till November 2003.

how the hell did you get a 120GB Maxtor for $39 ?!

I knew someone would ask that.. hahaha.. well, it was $159 at CompUSA with $60 in rebates, same time, Best Buy had a counter sale for $99 out the door, so I got the ad, went to CompUSA and they pricematched the drive for $99 AND I still got my $60 in rebates, for a total of $39.99 + tax on $99.

I got mine for FREE last year around this same time.

Some company called Invisia was doing a promotion where if you met with them for one hour they would give you an xbox. I went ahead and signed up. They showed up and gave a presentation on networking equipmen that lasted an hour. After that they gave me an xbox!

Sweet deal

Nice!

I have two V1.0 and paid $199.99 a piece. Bought the first one at Electronic Boutique and the second one a Toys-R-Us. No free items with either of them.

Holy crap man thats a freaking great idea!!

We got the same deal over here in Canada at Future Shop, and the regular price for a 120gig is like 100$ less at my local computer store... So I'll end up getting this drive for 120$CAN.
I already picked up a 60gig yesterday and it's a sweet deal even without having them to match the regular price.

Thanks for the unintentional tip
