I'm trying to get a renaming operation going in the file manager and I was gonna just use StringInput but when you type up the new filename and press Done, the keyboard pops back up again. Then if you press done again it goes away.

I was wrong, it doesn't go away at all unless you press back.

i dont know... its something in the routine making this happen.. .. the namechanger2.xas uses string input and it closes on done just fine.

edit.. i just duped the namechanger2.xas and set the kbinput to z:\getvid.rar

of course i lost the slash, so i added that in during the keyboard rename and changed the filename to z:\getvid2.rar

it worked fine and closed as it was suppose to.
