Just wondering approximately how fast DVD2XBOX rips original Xbox games. It takes forever to rip music to the HDD of a standard Xbox, I sure hope it isn't that slow with games.

I backed up my Ninja Gaiden (5.9GB) and it took about 15 or 18 minutes, I can't remember.

It depends on how big the game is and how many files there are. For example, KOTOR takes forever to backup because there are tens of thousands of files and it's over 3 gigs (I think).

On average, it takes about 5-12 minutes for me. Halo took 6, while smaller games like Max Payne only took 5. Splinter Cell 2 took the longest, at around 12.

PGR2 seems to take forever? Its not really the size of the game the game can be really small in file size but if its got a bunch of really small files it seems to take a lot longer.

The ripping time of audio files is determined by two factors:
1) the audio extraction capability of the DVD drive (don't know how fast it is)
2) and the encoding process for MP3 and ogg. It take some time as there is only a P3 700 Mhz inside.
