Hi there

I have recently tried chipping my mates xbox but have hit a slight snag.

The chip has gone in fine, cromwell bios appeared, installed latest x2 bios fro cd-rw and dvd-r. I then replaced the stock HDD for a 160gig. The problem is my EvoX boot cd does not seem to want to boot?!. However, the same dvd-r works fine and boots in my xbox. I thought it was the HDD making it fail boot, but when I plug in the stock drive, it doesn't boot either.

Any ideas why the disc wont boot?

Try switching your dvd drive with his temporarily, certain ones won't read as well as others. Also, wrong forum.

Well I had a huge and frustrating problem when i modded mine. I couldn't figure it out. I burned the iso and burned it on the disk. But i misunderstood the whole Iso thing I burned it like this: D:/ evox.iso, nero dummy etc. laugh.gif but then i read the tut again and found my mistake.
