I just upgraded to a 120 GB Hdd. Everything works great except I cant boot with the chip disabled. (No dash.... Error Code 5) It works fine with the chip enabled. According to everything I've read so far, this means I need to lock my hard drive.

Is this Correct?

What is the best way to do this?

Thanks for the reply.

Is it difficult to do?
I actually already have config Magic, (It came on my NewHdEvox) but was scared away by the disclaimer " this program could make your Xbox unusable...........or something"

I think I'll be brave and try it tonight.
