For some reason a XBMC manual isn't up in the tutorials like the XBMP manual is. XBMP can play most movies I have, but I also have a lot of movies in the Real Media format. Can XBMC play RM movies? If not, is there any application that can?

<videoextensions>.ty|.nfo|.strm|.rm|.m3u|.ifo|.mov|.qt|.divx|.xvid|.bivx|.vob|.img|.iso|.pva|.wmv|.asf|.asx|.ogm|.m2v|.avi|.bin|.dat|.mpg|.mpeg|.mp4|.mkv|.avc|.vp3|.svq3|.nuv|.viv|.dv|.fli</videoextensions>

According to the file extension, it looks like you can play .RM file extensions.

Yes thanks to the wonderfull dev. from the xbmc crew monkeyhappy. .rm files will play great.

If you want it to play .rmvb files(the newest form of real media) just edit the xboxmediacenter.xml( file add it to the video extentions.)

.rmvb is the best codec for low bit rate videos and anime. xvid is the winner in any other cadagory.

Thank you very much. I guess I'll have to get XBMC now, too, to play my .rm files.
