Is It Safe To Use The Controller Without The

The reason I ask is I snapped mine putting some controller dongle L.E.D's in and wondered if anything would short without the shield on the end. Call me paranoid or whatever but I thought I better ask the pro's. Thanks.

Not really sure, I guess the highest voltage coming out of that would be five volts.

Safe, just make sure nothing metal gets wedged in it

Yeah, you'll be just fine. Just make sure you line it up right since that and shielding is all it's for.
