I haven't been able to find a newer version and as such, am stuck with a build compiled around 12/02/04 (12th feb). My problem, is that while everything seems to work okay in the long run (with exception of thumbnails - apparently fixed in later versions), it takes 20 minutes to get the data down from IMDB!

Settings are as follows, with the 138 IP being the address of my ADSL router (and for my PCs). I've also tried setting this to the DNS of my ISP with much the same result.
<ipadres>10.0.0.99</ipadres>
<netmask>255.255.255.0</netmask>
<defaultgateway>10.0.0.138</defaultgateway>
<nameserver>10.0.0.138</nameserver>

And in case you're wondering... bad taste is a Peter Jackson movie, not a C grade porno smile.gif Check out the time stamps. Any idea where "T:\temp" came from?

02-01-2002 18:17:39 Retrieve:http://us.imdb.com/Tsearch?title=bad+taste
02-01-2002 18:17:39 Get URL:http://us.imdb.com/Tsearch?title=bad+taste
02-01-2002 18:17:39 Get URL:http://us.imdb.com/find?q=bad+taste;tt=1
02-01-2002 18:20:50 Get URL:http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0092610/
02-01-2002 18:24:52 imdb number:tt0092610
02-01-2002 18:24:52 Get URL:http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0092610/plotsummary
02-01-2002 18:39:07 Download:unknown->T:\temp
02-01-2002 18:39:07 invalid url:unknown

And I've got no idea where Q:\ came from either.

<home>E:\XBMC\</home>
02-01-2002 18:16:43 thumbnails folder:Q:\thumbs
02-01-2002 18:16:43 shortcuts folder:Q:\shortcuts
02-01-2002 18:16:43 albums folder:Q:\albums
02-01-2002 18:16:43 recording folder:F:\music\recordings
02-01-2002 18:16:43 subtitle folder:Q:\subtitles
02-01-2002 18:16:43 initialize network ip:[10.0.0.99] netmask:[255.255.255.0] gateway:[10.0.0.138] nameserver:[10.0.0.138]

Would these problems be fixed by an upgrade?

Thanks all
Cheers
Darcy

PS: Forgot to mention, works sweet-as for weather. Other people often seem to have a problem with both...

You need a newer version. There was imdb issues that forced us to change the parsing code in order to get the image for the movie.

Please make sure you have a version of XBMC after 6-6-04.

Then test again.
