Hey all,
Can anyone point me towards a tutorial or something similar that outlines how to downsample movie files so I can make a backup fit onto one dvd disk without deleting files please? If you can downsample audio files as well, that'd be great but I've only heard about downsampling movie files. If anyone out there can help with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.

HERE and HERE are 2 Tutorials written by a super-cool guy ( biggrin.gif ) that explain how to Downsample and Re-Link movie/audio files to save space on Backups.

And there's also THIS Tutorial that better explains how to Re-Link game files, but the writer isn't nearly as cool as the writer of the first 2...

What about another formats like vid , sfd etc.
Low resolution sfd can be downsampled with Dreamcast movie maker but how to downsomple high resolution ex: Ninja Gaiden ? Will TMPGEnc help me with sfd ? I think it should have right codec.
Anyone has more knoladge about downsampling ?

It's The Suffering and when I look at the contents in Windows Explorer, it has .SDU files, .VDU files, .FDU and .WDU files among many others. What extension do the video files usually have?? I'm assuming that there are more than one though, right??
