hey guys im going to do the easy glowing jewel mod
http://xbox-scene.co...owing-jewel.php
ive done everything up to where i actually plug in the connector....it says (for non solder) plug it right into the dvd rom molex connector...what exactly is that and do i literally plug the one connector from the light into the other connector or do i have to strip wires and then plug?

From the tut

"Since my xbox is a version 1.3 I don't have a fan on my video heatsink which leaves me with an open 12v connection on my motherboard to solder to. But for the sake of ease you can also just plug it in to the Molex connector for the DVD ROM if you don't want to solder to the motherboard or you have an earlier version with a video heatsink fan."

i should have this since my xbox was one of the launch date boxes (got it first day)

You plug it into tha HDD power plug... you can't miss it.... it should look exactly like tha plug that is connected to ur light.

It works sorta like x-mas lights... when you plug 'em into tha wall, there's still a plug on tha back of tha plug so you can still plug one more thing into it. You'll notice that tha molex connector on tha light has both a male and female plug, so that when you plag in ur light, there's still a plug that goes into tha hdd

If that makes any sense, lol
