i just bought some resistors and was confused...there were 100ohm resistors, but different watts. do watts matter? what are they? i always thought that 100ohm was 100ohm, but never knew that they came in different variations....help!

i'm not positive ont his, but i think that is to let you know how many watts they can handle flowing through them, so you dont accidently burn one out.
