okay, well since i have heard there is no reset method, i think im fux'd... everytime i turn on my xbox, it beeps, goes off, comes back on and beeps, and goes off again... the third time, it comes on and the light on the eject button goes red and green, and i dont know what i did to fux it up. ive tried making sure all the cords were plugged in, and there are no visible melting circuits or black spots on the opposite side to show shorts, so what do i do? do i have 300 dollars worth of parts now?

no mods have been done?

red/green mean a possible bad flash or bad bios.

i had the same problem.

what i did to fix it was push down a few times on the xbox matrix chip and leave it visible for me to tweak with.
after my ordeal it was over in 3 mins.

so i would try to push, move, realight the chip, before doing anything drastic!!!

i think its a corrupt bios on your xbox. you should reflash your matrix just to make sure its good and then align it again and maybe just maybe you will have saved $300 bucks which my services are $50 and I accept paypal. user posted image j/k

yeah that's what happens from matrix unalignment. It happened to me numerous times. I think you just need to put the chip in again and get it to boot, you may need to re-flash it. Then it will probably work again. That's my best guess.
