Here in Norway the lamp for My Projector cost the equal to $ 350.-
The lamp they use here costs about $ 35.- and have ten times the lifespan, so I'll go for the homebuild one. I'm willing to sacrifice some picture quality for the costs.

Putting the Xbox in the box will be something extra smile.gif

yes they did it on tech tv with an old floor model im pretty sure this will do the same

They work, but results are sketchy, some people love them , others absolutely hate them, the easiest way to do it and get good results is search around for a cheap projector made for it, rather than use the lcd panels from laptops and an overhead, tvs with fresnal lenses etc
