Hi All,

I have just installed my Matrix Chip and want to upgrade the HD at the same time. I have a 200G Maxtor ATA/133. My Xbox is Version 1.1 and I have the D6 bios. Will the Slayer software work for me. It seems to be the easiest way, but I'm not sure if it works on a XBOX 1.1. I don't care about any of the information on the old HD so would I still need to back it up?

I just would like the simplest solution for this upgrade. I have read a couple of tutorials and I don't really understand all of it.

Any help would be appreciated.

beerchug.gif The slayer cd will work but just don't use that 200gig as the xbox can only see a max hard drive size of 137gig. so you will lose 63 gig of space laugh.gif

Wanna know why it only see 137gb? Because it runs off a basic WinXP install and WinXP won't recognize a partition over 137gb.

200 gig is over kill
untill theres a bios released to utilize the extra space. just get a 120 gig
u can use the 200 but it will only recognize 137 or so smile.gif
