Postings made it very clear that Xbox 1.6 has no TSOP, but then where is the BIOS loading from? There must be *something* that holds the BIOS codes, so it can load during the boot sequence.
The search function has been down for the last several months, so I couldn't search for it.

the working theory is the xyclops chip holds the bios, eeprom and PIC chip data, it also appears to a be write-once chip, so its not flashable

Bad news for TSOPers. Being just the xbox v1.6 and it being a small milestone for us to hack, just think of the months it will take to hack the xbox 2.

What a horrible time it will be. Good luck to us. beerchug.gif

And good luck getting a cheap mod on the newer xboxes. beerchug.gif
