Couple of ways you can backup in Ava, Insert your game disc, you will now see the Disc Icon appear in top Right Corner, goto it.. Press Start Button and goto Backup smile.gif it will automatically make a folder in the F:games folder.. Or you can use the Filemanager if you wish..

My suggestion would be too use a seperate Application like DVD2Xbox or similar as at the moment is superior.. and gives you other possibilitys like reducing the size of the games by pulling out useless information and files.. aswell as patching for certain games using acl files.. (found in the usual places before you ask smile.gif )

So do you have ANY of your game backups on your HDD as of yet, or is it a fresh system ? Has it been formatted correctly etc, do you have all your folders setup correctly according to your avalaunch.xml are BOTH F AND G drive Enabled in the avalaunch.xml ?

Oh & be warned DO NOT use the Drive locking features in AVA dash as I know of peeps who have had probs including me, use Config Magic Application to lock/unlock your drive, although this does not matter when your transferring your backups wether locked or not..

I have posted my avalaunch.xml file for you too look at, and I will tell you how my folders are setup on my system, I DO NOT use G partition.. so something like

F:/games F:/emulators F:/applications F:/Dashboards F:Videos
E:Apps/xbmc E:/Music

Maybe amongst all this you will find something that will help..

Goodluck
