anyone post a scrath tut for adding a dvd window to you xbox?

i had no luck in the tut's section, or by using that horrid google search.

There are 2 in the pinned FAQ here, but they no longer have working images (Or at least they didn't when I checked them out).

thanks, i'm sure i can wing it, but i figured its always better with a guided hand.

i chipped my box a year ago, just havent done anything hardware wise with it yet.

making the dvd window is not that hard. u dont need a tut. just mark of spots where u going cut. dont go under .5in from all the side.
heres my quick tut for u

make ur design for the window
draw lines
mask off the places ur not going to cut
the only places that should be exposed is the window (what ur going to cut)
get a dremel and start cutting. do not go into the masked parts
once its all cut start sanding.
get plexiglass and cut it a little bigger than the window.
put the plexiglass under the window n put hot glue around it.
admire ur work

tips:
take ur time. dont rush into things
keep a steady hand so u wont cut into a place u dont want to
start out with an easy design first. like a basic window. not a halo 2 design or anything like that.
