I'd like to know this as well. It doesn't say anything about the current project status on their web page.

The head man on the project, Eabair is busy with other matters temporarily for now... I think that M.A.M.E is a big project that would be better supported by everyone who has the skills for it and thus giving some help to the Mameox team...this emu needs xbox specifics optimizations and fine tuned memory hacks(even to 128Mb xboxes)...

just my two cents... ph34r.gif

I would give my right testicle for some optimized NBA Jam TE emulation ph34r.gif

Really hope this emulator is still being worked on. xPort is undoubtably the king of xbox emulation, but this is definitely my favourite emulator.
I'm holding off buying a light gun until it's properly supported in mameox.

maybe if we get enough people to post something here the author would see it and get motivated or even other people will see it and get motivated tongue.gif

I hope it too, but I think XPort has already too much emulators to maintain; I suppose he has a live, too! tongue.gif

From what I've heard Xport say (in these threads, check out the winuaex thread) that he will not work on emulating a certain machine unless

there is an open source release and

no one else is working on or maintaining an xbox version
or
without the blessing of someone already working on one

That being said. I would say unlikely.

ph34r.gif All the requisites are filled then...
-Mameox is a open source project
-They`re agreeing to any help from outside (mostly coders)

Personally I`m still playing around with a XDK and my very few C and Visual Basic programming...way to go to any help yet sad.gif
