Rolling Lines. I Know People Have Seen This Before
Posted 04 July 2004 - 03:07 PM
What complicates things further is that where there is a spike in the audio (someone yelling in a movie, etc) there are additional tiny lines that show for the duration of the spike ... and in the intensity of the audio.
Given that this isn't the original xbox case, could this be some sort of ground problem?
I've tried various cable configurations, to make sure there wasn't interference between the audio/video on the rca cables, but this doesn't seem to be the problem.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

|yep its a grounding/shielding issue. youre getting rf interference from somewhere.|
Thanks for the reponse. I was afraid this was the case. Any suggestions on where to start diagnosing this? If it's a shielding issue, what should be shielded?

|everything, use metal, or aluminum foil? hope it wasnt a plexi case.|
Should I be shielding from outside rf interference or from something else in side the case?
