Panasonic Lf-d311 Dvd Burner

I'm thinking of maybe getting a DVD burner. I've been offered a Panasonic LF-D311 DVD Burner for £160 and was wandering if it was any good. It seems to be a bit cheap compared to other drives which is why I'm wandering if it's worth spending more and getting a pioneer or sony.

This drive is a very slow single speed DVD-R writer, and DVD-RAM is not compatible with any set top DVD players or the xbox. Only other DVD-RAM drives will be able to read your DVD-RAM discs.
I love being able to experiment with game compilations etc on my rewriteable DVD+RW discs, and try them in my xbox, before comitting to write once media. You wont be able to do this.

basicly DVD-RAM is like a freggin HDD, there is no substitute...
Can you say 9 GiGs for 6 buX?
oh, and XBMP plays everything off of it
i would say, get it, if its the right price!
