I installed a matrix modchip on my version 1.0 xbox
I was trying to install the matrix on my cousins v 1.0 xbox
the only differnce in our xboxes are
mine is mrd 2001-10-26 with 10gb hd
his is mrd 2001-11-16 with 8gb hd

now with his when i put the modchip in and turn it on the front green light on the xbox flashes on and off 3 times just like it does when the bios is not on the matrix
but i put my mod chip in his that i know has the correct bios i have tried evox 2.5 and the new evox 6 something

1. Be patient. We're not at your beck and call.
2. Check the alignment. If it's not aligned correctly, then it will do exactly like you are describing.
