My Xbox seems to be not working most of the time…almost as if it’s overheated or something.
Most of the time it won’t boot to the loader, but when it does it won’t play any of the burned disks I’ve been playing.
Any thoughts or ideas?
I have an Aladin Advance 32, and a 1.4 Xbox I think... Is it possible that i actually have a 1.6??? Shouldn't I be able to tell based on the Video chip, connexant or Focus?

You only have a 1.6 if you have the Xcalibur chip which I don't think you do. you need to completely re-do the install as it sounds like the soldering is not right yet. also your DVD probably does not like the media you are using.
How did you wire up the chip? Does the lED change colour on the front when you boot with the chip enabled?
