Alright, I am upgrading my Hard Drive to a 250GB that has UnleashX, XBMC and some emulators on it. Do I need to do anything to my Xbox when I swap the HD's or will they work? The specs to what I have now are in the sig and ask any questions if you need any more info. All help is appreciated

nope you'll be fine, as long as that hard drive is set to run on an xbox and is unlocked you can just put it in and lock it if you want. Just transfer over your old save files if you want to keep your save games for the newer hard drive.

If everything is on the hard drive already, you should be able to just plug it in and use it. Also are you looking to sale that 120 GB hard drive, if so I am interested.

One thing I forgot. When I get the drive and I replace the C & E drive, wouldn't putting the C back on there overwrite any of the Unleash stuff? I don't want EvoX anymore, so would I put the C on there or just leave the C the way it is on the 250

Thanks for the hard drive biggrin.gif . IF the 250 GB hard drive has everything you want on it you don't even need to copy anything over.

just transfer over the stuff from your old C: that you want to your new c: drive and same with E: ....thats what i meant

i didn't mean to overwrite the c: nd e: drive on your new hd with the one from your old ... sorry for not clarifying myself

Alright, thanks. So there shouldn't be anything really on the C drive that I need, just the E.

But the 250 is coming with everything ready to go off another Xbox. Is there anything that is "specific" to my Xbox that I would need to put on it?

I think it would be more wise to keep the C and E from your box.

I see what your saying, but wouldn't just copying the C over get rid of the UnleashX? I definitely putting the E on the new one, but I was just wondering if there were any certain C files that were unique to my Box that I would need.

Using the 250GB that has everything on it will be ok. I've swapped over many hd with different xboxes. As long as it's unlock before you put in another xbox it will work.
