Can anyone pm me, or drop me an email so I can discuss SPECIFICS about my problem, ie. files I have downloaded, how to stuff, etc. PLease anyone. Or add me to MSN using my email address and PM me. I'm really stuck here.

What do you need help with? Making a boot CD? Your question is vauge...

yes boot cd!

i went to usual places, renamed xbe file, added dummy file, added ini file, created ixo with craxion, burned image with nero. made boot cd on memorex cd-RW and DVD-R, DVD+R, none have worked. none none none.

I have a softmpd Xbox. What am i doing wrong?

Well, sorry you have a soft modded xbox, which I know nothing about... I wouldn't want to give you the wrong answer. As far as creating a boot CD....

Get evox from the usual places... rename evoxdash.xbe to default.xbe and the .ini file with it and put in a folder. Download a dummy file or take a large file and rename it to abc.dat whatever.... place it in the same folder. Modify the .ini file with your IP Settings of choice.

Get QUIX, create and ISO select the folder with the files in it. Call it evox.iso

Open Nero, goto Burn Image -> select image and select evox.iso, put in a BRAND NEW CD-RW put the CD-RW in the drive and then reboot the Xbox.. this will work provding you have a chip installed properly and flahsed properly and set to on.

done that with probably 12 different CD's and dvd's

none are read.
