Does anyone know if I can compress games on the hard drive? I have finished some games and would like to keep them on the hard drive. I don't want to make an ISO and burn a backup, but I would like more space on the hard drive. I would rather just compress the game to a .zip or a .tar and uncompress later. I don't have linux on xbox.

Much thanks.

I don't believe there are any xbox apps that will do it for you, you'd have to copy the files to your pc, compress them there, with rar say, then copy the archives back to your xbox, naturally you can't play the game then, and you'd have to reverse the steps if you ever wanted to play the game again...
