Recently upgraded my hard drive to a 160 Gig Western Digital (which happens to be lockable). Everything was going fine, then tried to load some game saves from way back and found I couldn't. From what I read, this seems to be a result from M$ not wanting certain game saves to be distributed, encoding the HD key to the game save. So now that I have a new HD key it won't let me open them. I do have a tutorial however that tells me how to change the key on the HD using hdlock and hdunlock, but my problem is that I've got new game saves in other games that follow the same principle (Ninja Gaiden for example) Now with all of that out of the way...

I'd like to know if anyone can point me in the right direction of a way to fix this issue, preferable by editing the game saves themselves. I found a program that would work on the game Ninja Gaiden, but I'm not sure if it would work for my NCAA football 2004. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve
