4920 WILL KINDA WORK WHEN MOD IS ENABLED BUT......

if you disable your mod - say for live you will get the dash error codes

if shit happens then just run say dashupdate xbe from a recent live game like ninja gaiden - without a network cable plugged in....

This would put on a 1.4 or 1.5 dashboard for you if you run into problems but 1.6 xbox won't like the 4920 at all me thinks, so if you got slayer / evox disc then to be safe just install the evoxdash and apps - without installing the old msdash

That probably would be best solutiuon but a good way also for future reference:

Go to the normal MS Dash - go to system and find out your current msdash version

K = kernal or bios

D = the dashboard currently installed

when you drop in the usual evox or avalaunch - back up your C drive contents and label it on ya pc as whatever the dashboard said it was

a backup of your files is a bit of a must if you don't have access to other msdash files or another xbox easily - it's easy to think nah it will be ok but then peeps run into trouble and they are screwed.....
Also backing up your dash files is handy if you want to install a bigger h/d in there at some point
