I have a v1.6 xbox K:5838 D:5659 and I copyed the update.xbe patched it renamed the output file as xboxdash.xbe put bert-5838-01.xtf and ernie.xtf in the root of c: then I renamed the fonts folder to "f0nts" and deleted the xbox.xtf and erm that other one from the root of c: then put pbl mentoo with new m8 bfm on the e: drive and then restarted and got error code 13 and I'm out of ideas now here a screenshot of hddriver

Put evox on your C drive as evoxdash.xbe and make sure you have a configured evox.ini on the C drive also.

I think I see the problem now....

Make a folder called fonts and put those two files in there. They're supposed to be in the fonts folder, not the root of C.

If that doesn't solve the problem, then re-extract the pbl metoo package, but don't rename the bios file to xboxrom.bin, unless you're sure to change the boot.cfg file to look for xboxrom.bin.

And if all of that doesn't work then just download the UDE Mem card installer.

Run it.
Hit install
Choose UDE2.
Choose one of Nkpatcher or PBL-Metoo (I would choose the later)
Choose a couple more things maybe?
BE DONE! BE HAPPY! BE MERRY!

No shitting around with fonts files and stuff.

ok theres a font folder and theres also font in the root of c:\ so should i delete the font in the c:\ and just rename the fonts folder or should i keep the fonts on the root of c:

edit:i dont have a memeory card nor a game to do the ude installer with and i have done the hotswap method before on a v1.0 xbox and it went fine

Don't delete anything. When you're done, you should have a fonts folder, which contains the bert and ernie files, a f0nts folder which contains xbox.xtf and xbox book.xtf (the original MS dash font files), and xbox.xtf and xbox book.xtf in the root of the C drive.

Also, if you're getting error 13, it sounds like metoo is booting up, but it can't find an evoxdash.xbe. If it really had to do with the fonts, then I imagine you would get error 21 not 13. Just try putting evoxdash.xbe on C and E and see if it works.
