Can you all tell me where I can get a newer disk drive? I my older one has read problems every so often, and it would be nice to rip mp3's to a disk and copy them instead of cd by cd.

Thanks

you can buy a samsung from me!

ebay's always a good idea too,

thompson drives read bugger all, and are cheap

phillips drives are a bit better and read a fair bit, newer ones with the big bulge on are a lot more compatible, you're takling a 60/40 chance it'll read dvd-r, instead of a 30/70 chance it will for the older ones

sammys are the best, 10 times out of 10 they read anything
