Solderless Adapter D0 Point Question

i have a solderless adpater i donot want to solder if i used electrical tape on the board will it damage it the reason i ask this is becaust the gold wire moves north of the d0 point with the slightest vibration to the xbox so if i put a couple of strips of electrial tape there do u think it will be ok

Electrical tape is fairly plyable so it won't hold it down very firm. You can try hot glue since it is not conductive, but the best solution is to solder it in.

i am not trying to tape it in i am trying to give it boundaries for it wont go north or east of the d0 point when tapped

I don't see that working very well. It wouldnt hurt anything but I don't think it would work well. you can get some hot glue, stick the pin in and make sure its solid then hit it with some hot glue. Thats your best bet besides the better solution of soldering it.
