Hello,

I isntalled a AladinXT and the first time i booted, everything worked fine, the AvoX logo showed and MSdash showed up.

Then i turned it off and started it up again.
Now the Xbox reboots 3 time in a row and then i get a black screen:S
The LED flashes red/orange.

If i wait five minutes and turn it on again with a single press on the button it boots fine without EvoX logo showing up.

Is there anyway i can solder a wire to have the chip on always?

thnx.

I think you have to attach the BT wire correctly for these to work so check everything is installed right. You cannot just ground the D0 for this chip to work.

You will have to ground the BT also.
You need to give more detail like what sort of install you did which version etc.

I had the same problem at one time.
I even thought that the chip was bad, so I soldered in a new one. Same thing.

Then, I retraced all of the connections and found nothing. All continuity OK to LPC points.

I resoldered/heated up the points to the LPC and attempted it again.

The box has worked more less perfect since then.

That fixed my problem, not quite sure if you have the exact same issue....but try reheating the joints on the LPC from the underside.

Good Luck.
