WARNING I DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO URE XBOX OR ANYTHING ELSE BY URE OWN SCREW UPS

yadda yadda yadda read on if u screw i'll try my best to help

So.......

U've installed ure modchip(WHAT U WANT A GUIDE FOR THAT ASWELL??? WHAT DO U THNIK I AM SUPERMAN? sheeshh)and hacked bios{or not} and already ppl are screaming at you FTP FTP FTP!!! slayers slayers slayers!!! dash dash dash!!! and ure like WTF dry.gif

Well here is a simple solution

(yes i hear all ure n00bs sighs of relief biggrin.gif)

Slayers- Was an old bootdisk that setup FTPing to ure xbox so u cud ftp files over(i think please correct if im wrong)

Now i don't recommend that for n00bs.....

FireFuckers X-Disk will install all dashs and apps u need to get
started smile.gif an x2 4981+ bios is recommended

THis is what firefuckers X-DISK installs

(Taken from Firefuckers X-DISK forums)

Dashboards:
-evox
-mxm
-avalaunch
-unleashX
-tHcdash (hacked M$-Dashboard in blue, orange, green)

Bios:
-Latest Biosfiles from Team Xecuter and Team Evox, highly customized (silent boot, colored LEDs) & other Biosfiles

Apps:
Everything U need for System Management, Backup and playing Audio/Video files

Emus:
19 different Emus

X-DISK Main Features:
-Install a single or all Dashboard with or without Apps on a new HD or Upgrade
-U can launch every Dashboard from within every Dashboard
-U can switch the default Dashboard woth X-Switch (No flashing)
-Every Dashboard is skinned and configured
-Flash Bios without having to chose the size (EvoX does it automatically)
-Livemenu - Start everything on X-DISK without installing it (cool)

New Features in 0.99/1.0/1.01:
-Install XBMP as a Dashboard
-Start x-switch from HD
-Copy Biosfiles to HD
-XBMP: playlists fr Shoutcast-Streams

This is way more than slayers and much easier for ppl without an FTP connection

Check Firefucker homepage for more info smile.gif

also its availible in german as well smile.gif

Where to Get

A certain **torrent site Hint:.com and .net are the real scammers**.... i say no more if u haven't figured it out then ure stupid and shouldn't be modding xbox's PLEASE DO NOT PM ME ASKING WHERE TO GET IT!!!!!!!!

Ok here comes the actual tut again taken from x-disk.com

Mini How-To on installing Dashboards and apps using X-Disk v.101e
*****************************************************************

Purpose of this How-To: This is intended to assist anyone
who is new to X-Disk and is having issues installing.

Pre-requisites: The following assumes that you are planning
on installing a brand new HD into your unit that has never been
used, or that you have performed a Low Level format on an existing
drive. If you are using an existing drive, and do not know how to
perform a Low Level format, run a search on the web, then read up.
If you are using a brand new HD, it will already be properly
formated to receive the X-Disk dashboard and app installs.

It is also assumed that you have already modified your unit
by either installing a MODCHIP or modifying your TSOP and have the
new HD installed with jumper set to either Cable Select or Master.
If you are unsure on what that means, please read up in the forums
at either www.x-disk.com or www.xbox-scene.com

Lastly, it is assumed that you have flashed your MODCHIP or TSOP
with a bios file that supports an F: drive. Again, if you are
unsure what this means, please read up in the forums at either
www.x-disk.com or www.xbox-scene.com. If you are unsure about
where to get the BIOS files you will require or X-Disc v.101e,
please refer to http://www.x-disk.co...hp?f=37&start=0

If the above pre-requisites have been met, feel free to move on to
the Step-By-Step secttions below.

************************Before*Proceeding************************

Please note that the author of this document will assume no
responsibility for any damage or financial loss encured as a
direct or indirect result of the use of this tutorial. By using
this tuitorial you are acknowledging that you will be held entirely
responsible for any of the above mentioned damage or loss to both
the unit in question (and all of its harware/software components)
and to your any of your personal belongings directly or indirectly
affected by this tutorial.

**************************End**Disclaimer************************

Step-By-Step:
*************

1 - Power on unit and insert X-Disk.

2 - Reboot - this should initialize the disk.

3 - select "Format and install" - this will bring you into a
secondary menu.

4 - From the secondary menu, select the type of install you
would like:
- M$dash only: installs only original dashboard
- 3rd party dash and apps: installs 3rd party
dashboard and apps
- All-in-one: installs all 3rd party dashboards
and all apps.

5 - Confirm your choice.

6 - Allow "Format and Installation" to complete - when it has
completed, you will be returned to the X-Disk menu screen.

7 - (optional) If you are not at the main X-Disk menu, use the
(the b button) on the controller, (the big red button) to return to the
main X-Disk menu.

8 - From the main menu, select the "End" menu item.

9 - From the sub-end menu, select "Eject DVD and Reboot" (remove the disk)

At this point your unit should boot into the original M$ Dashboard
(this is normal)

10 - Re-insert the X-Disk v.101e disk into your unit - if the unit
does not boot into the X-Disk menu automatically, simply power
off the unit and power it on again - this time it will boot
into the X-Disk menu items automatically.

11 - From the menu items, select "Live Menu"

12 - From the "Live Menu" section select programs or apps (can't remember
the exact naming as I only had to do this once), and finally
select Boxplorer or Xbox File Explorer

13 - You should now be in an application that will allow you to view
the contents of your unit. (by default you are on the c: drive)

14 - Use the directional pad to scroll down to the file name xboxdash.xbe
and highlight it by pressing (x) button on the controller (blue button)

15 - Once the file is highlighted, press the white button of your controller
and a secondary menu will appear.

16 - Scroll down to the "rename" menu item and select it.

17 - Use the directional pad to rename the file from "xboxdash.xbe" to
"xboxdash.old" (obviously, without the quotes.)

18 - Follow the onscreen instructions for saving the new name.

19 - When Boxplorer tells you that you have successfully renamed the
file, press the ( the b button) on the controller, (the big red button) to
return to the drive contents

20 - Use the directional pad to scroll down to the file named after the
dashboard that you wish to use, (ie: evoxdash.xbe, unleashdash.xbe, etc..)
and highlight it by pressing (x) button on the controller (blue button)

21 - Once the file is highlighted, press the white button of your controller
and a secondary menu will appear.

22 - Scroll down to the "rename" menu item and select it.

23 - Use the directional pad to rename the file from "whateverdash.xbe" to
"xboxdash.xbe" (obviously, without the quotes. For example:

evoxdash.xbe becomes xboxdash.xbe

24 - Follow the onscreen instructions for saving the new name.

25 - When Boxplorer tells you that you have successfully renamed the
file, press the (the b button)on the controller, (red button) to
return to the drive contents

26 - Finally, press the white button on your controller to activate
the secondary menu a final time.

27 - Select either "save and exit" or "exit" and your unit will reboot.

28 - Because the X-Disk is still in the unit, you will be brought to it's
main menu.

29 - From the main menu, select the "End" menu item.

30 - From the sub-end menu, select "Eject DVD and Reboot" (remove the disk)

At this point your unit should boot into the dashboard that you have selected
and you can now navigate the various screens an tweak your settings.
