Hi all,

I recently moved WAY in the boonies and had to pick up Direcway (Sat. internet access through Directv) because no broadband this far out. All i want to do i dwl content from Xbox live (like updates for Ninja Gaiden, KOTOR updates etc). I have two computers hooked up with a switch. The Direcway modems are USB, hooked into one comp then ICS into the switch, then to other computer. I plugged in a ethernet cable into switch to try it out. All i get is "Connecting to Xbox Live" then it will say it could not connect. I even tried a Crossover Cable just to see and it didn't work either. No clue what is wrong with it, was wondering if maybe MS is blocking connections with crap lag (like Direcway has). I have looked at afew internet forums and didn't really find anything that helped me. Thanks alot.

you got a few options

call your ISP support
call msft support
get offical Xbox Mag DVD's with game content.

since sat links use a modem to upload i assume that you cant do it.
