I am doing a mod for a guy on a v1.6 xbox.
I used an xecuter2.6 and flashed it with the M8_1.6 bios and everything boots fine.
I tried copying a game onto the hdd just to check and make sure everything worked well, and it copied fine, but when I try to run the game It lods the title screen and then says dirty disk error.

I am booting the bios from the second bank because I heard that would prevent any problems booting backups, however I am still running into errors

I am using psxhdd loader to backup the games...should I try dvd2xbox or something?

yes you should try dvd2xbox5.9 also it might be that the game you are trying to boot from HD might need the ACL patch
