I just installed 8 Xenium LED Adapters and now my xbox's video is wavy. What could this be? And can this be fixed?

Have you grounded the chain of LED adpaters using the ground ring on the wire? (iir this was on earlier models, dunno if yours has it...)

do you really need to ground the wires cause i havent and my crystal has 5 additional led lights daisy chained thru my xbox ( looks cool too) and i havent grounded on of them

plus if i do choose to ground does it matter which on i ground ie can i pick on close to a screw hole?

I didn't ground any.... Do I have to ground just one? or all? PS I took the metal casing out and I took the black thing from under the power supply out too...

Just one; just screw it in under the nearest screwhole...

And omg, no, you don't *need* to, however, if you have a lot of LEDs together and you don't ground you'll get some funky side effects...

No, not permenant... do the effects go away if you remove the LEDs? Ifnot, then it's another issue, removing the shielding or something may have caused it (Though I doubt it..)

If you remove the shielding from an xbox it causes wavy/noisy graphics.

Is there any way to fix this without putting the entire metal thing back in?

You could probably use metal foil, or a metal mesh...

but no. you need the shielding to shield the electronics from electromagnetic interference... also to protect everything else from the xbox's EM radiation
