i just moved and i lost my power cord.
if i shave the edges off my playsation one can i use it in my xbox..


just want to make sure cause i dont want to blow my powersupply

You can shave the edges of a PS2 cord and use it in an Xbox. But don't try to do this the other way around. I can't remember the specifics of why, but it's a bad idea. Also, you might want to confirm this with someone else before trying it, as I'm just repeating something I read on here somewhere. I haven't tried this for myself.

It shouldn't matter either way. Its just wire incased in rubber. Nothing more, nothing less. Their are no differences in the two beside the color and molding on the ends.

Now if you were trying to use a power cord that was skinner, thats a different story. Don't ever go down in the size of the wire. Going up is ok.

Hey it work for me I did the same thing I use My PS2 wire too, there no problem, I been using it for along time now, and my Xbox still woking fine. beerchug.gif
