I have an xbit chip running evox bios...my problem is that sometimes it wont read whatever media i try to run. wether it be a vcd, dvd, game, it will just say no disk and I have to press the eject button to open the disk tray and then press it again so it'll close and read the disk again...sometimes it'll work after that and some times i have to do it two or three times before it reads the disk. anybody know what's going on? thanks for the help in advance. By the way...i figured this issue had to do with either the bios i was using or the chip so thats why i'm posting in this forum, but if it isn't feel free to move it where it belongs. again thank you for the info in advance.

Have you forgotten that it might also be your dvd drive try cleaning the lens to see if your games wor dvd's will work I don't think it's your bios or your chip just to let you know biggrin.gif

Any regular cd cleaner you use to clean cd players try it and see if it works.
