i have 27c020(2 mb chip 120ns) installed it ok i think... using evox.2.2 bois.booted up ok but when i put in my cdrw i get that it can't reconize shit cd... tried another cdrw no change.
The dashboard is 973kb and then u have to extract it with winrar and then burn it with nero right(file is around 7mb)????... how do i know that my homebrew is working or not is there anyway of telling without the cdrw. CDRW's i've tried are Verbatim and memorix..

If it boots, and you've got the pin 32 link wire connected, it's DEFINITELY booting the mod BIOS.

Try the DVD pot tweak (I should also state, make sure you have a multimeter to do it) or try the DVD drive swap (though it didn't work for the model I tried).
