I attempted a POGO install, I had no success. After reading through xbit forum, I thought it might be a connectivity issue so I asked and a technician friend to do the soldering for me. Now, when xbit chip is enabled my Xbox intermittently powers OFF, ON, OFF, ON, OFF three times then gives me the red and green Christmas lights. When I flip the switch to disable chip, MS BIOS load just fine. I donít think I have bogus BIOS. I get my xbit to successfully flash and verify different BIOS on different banks.

I have an XBIT 1.0, XBOX version 1.5. I tried EvoX M7, M8, X4983.06, and X4983.67 BIOS with no luck. Do I have a bad chip or bad solder job?

I'm leaning towards a bad solder job. The D0x is a bitch to solder, so damn small.
