Alright, here's what happened.... I take electronics class, and my friend brought in his xbox, its a new one, version 1.6 and the problem is that now when he turns it on, it reboots twice with no video or sound, then it flashes red and orange non-stop. He said this happened because he had put in a dvd (a porno lol) Anyways... I have been researching this and it says according to my symptoms, the connection between the LPC and Pin5 on the motherboard is not properly connected. But they said this only because of a bad solder job. But my friends xbox has NEVER been opened and is brand new. How could this of happened if his xbox is nonmodded and non opened? What can I do to fix it without installing a modchip? Even if I have to solder something, what do I do? I tried using the guides online for connecting a wire or whatever, but they are all pictures of v1.5 and below versions, the motherboard for v1.6 is totally different! Someone please help me out! Thank you
