dvdx2 is the standalone player and it works VERY good. you dont even need to use the remote, the controller is just fine. you may need to have a bios with the eject trick, but the matrix will work fine

Is D6 a bios that will work?

Also, what is the reset code for the Matrix chip or D6 Bios?

as long as the D6 bios has ejectfix/trick. it should state it within it's title name

it would be great if your vcd player could read cd-r's. but if they dont, you'll have to burn the vcd's to cd-rw or dvd's

even so, you will still need to burn the cd-r in UDF format... or get the latest CVS build of media player which supports ISO9660.
