Xbox Bios On Modchip With Live?

would this work? i've got a broken trace on my mobo, so i was just wondering if anyone know's if a ms bios will work when on a modchip and if live would ban me or not... thanks for the help in advance

I think you can still get banned.

alright if you broke a trace why dont u just repair it??? I'm sure theres some tut's around here on ways you can. Also ive always wondered about using a ms stock bios on mod. I thought it was true untill i heard about xbox live checking for D0 activity so i guess it would detect a mod if that was true.

The answer is no you will not get banned.

MS can only detect the bios your running and not the mod chip your running it off of. The d0 is only active upon bootup so I don't see how they can see activity. I have tested this tons of times and my suggestion to people with 1.6 MB's is to get your retail bios off the motherboard and flash it onto the last bank.

or you could just turn the chip off.
