I recently flashed my bios with a 256kb 4983.06 x-ecuter2 bios. I checked the bin file with bioschecker 5.0 and it recognized it correctly. But when i run bioschecker on the xbox it reports something like this:
512k bioses:
md5hash = xxxxx
md5hash = xxxxx

256k bioses:
md5hash = xxxxx
md5hash = xxxxx
md5hash = xxxxx
md5hash = xxxxx
None of the hashes matches the hash of the bin file i used to flash. My xbox works ok, so its just that im curious to know why the hashes doesn't matcht.
And how do i tell the size of the bios on the modchip, 256kb, 516kb or 1mb? I mean the bios size i should choose to flash with another time.

Help would be appreciated.

It could be because the 4983 bios is encrypted, but I'm not sure.
